Bade miyan Amitabh Bachchan needs to be reminded of one simple fact that zilch compares to a dignified old age!

Dancing in fancy clothes with girls of his grand daughter’s age might fetch him a few more millions but its eating up the respect we had for him.

Quality education for muslims: a distant dream?

Monday, April 16th, 2007

The fact that Muslims need reforms in each and every sphere of life is an open truth. Education being the most important one. When it comes to education, I need not give any stats to prove one simple fact that Muslims have a long way to go. Still, education for Muslims is the most politicized one. We have seen enough of drama about the minority status of the most revered educational institution for Muslims in India, i.e. the Aligarh Muslim University. In no time, questions were raised about the seat reservation in Jamia because it offers a 50% reservation for Muslims. What I fail to understand is, why only Muslim institutions?

In a country like India, where we have educational institutes run by different religious organizations like the DAV society, which is a chain of schools and colleges run by RSS, the Khalsa schools and colleges and numerous convent educational institutions. Convent schools and colleges too have a 50% reservation for Christian students. Some Convent schools in Delhi offer a seat to a non-Christian student if the family of the student agrees to bear the expenses of a Catholic child for a year. Whereas colleges under the Khalsa board give a preference to Punjabi students. Even those Punjabi students who are lagging behind academically make it to their desired courses in Khalsa. There’s virtually nothing wrong with these institutes if they give preference to students from their own community, the reason as to why only those institutes that prefer Muslims are put to test is hard to understand.
Can we have the same yard sticks please?

Time and again this issue is raised dramatically, soon acid support is gathered from all nooks and corners of India without even thinking about the rest of the minority institutions that enjoy the same status as AMU and Jamia. What’s wrong with the rationale and the conscience of those who think that everything that’s Muslim is going to prove fatal? The secular identity that India brags appears to be a distant dream when such issues are raised.

maan na maan…main tera mehmaan!

Well the saying holds good for none other than the female version of Salman Rushdie. Oops! I mean Tasleema Nasreen. The lady takes offence when people in the literary circles describe her as the female version of Rushdie. But why is she taking them so seriously?Anyways, the most interesting thing about the woman is the delusion in which she thrives.

She contemplates,

“We don’t need any shariat courts; we don’t need any religious code in a democratic and secular country. What we need is a common civil code. I don’t think shariat courts are civilized, women suffer a lot under it.

Now a million dollar question is when did she become a part of “we? My finite knowledge tells me that she still owns a Bangladeshi passport. After the turmoil she created by her boisterous blabbering about Islam and her exile that followed, she took refuge in the land of the free and the liberals… the wild Wild West! Again, she was disowned by her phirang friends, now the poor damsel is in a fix and seeks asylum in India. After two unsuccessful attempts of urging the Indian government to grant her Indian citizenship, this is her third endeavor. I guess someone needs to remind her that she is still a Bangladeshi with no legal rights to poke her nose into matters that concern

India and Indians. She is only trying to fish in troubled waters. Her over indulgence in our internal matters will only add fuel to the flame. If she understands the depth of her own proclamation,

“I want to make the state secular and humanistic.

Then she should stop poking her nose in something as personal and individualistic as religion. She is just cutting a sorry figure by taking advantage of the already disturbed atmosphere in India.

My only advice to the lady is to get over her childhood nightmares!

Herd sentiment?

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

A few days back, it was in the news that the strongest critic of “minority appeasement” in India i.e. BJP is all set to try its luck at it.

Sounds crazy?

Yes it does.

:o

So, in a country like India, where people play all sorts of cards there’s nothing wrong if BJP is trying to appease the minorities, in other words they are trying to appease the biggest threat to the Hindu Rashtra!

As I generally say, there’s nothing right and absolutely nothing wrong in Indian politics. After all. kharbooje ko dekh ke kharbooja rang badalta hi hai…

So BJP is using their favourite stooge or the head of the Muslim PR Department of BJP for the same. Any guesses? Anyone?

Ah! Who else can it be if its not Shabuddin the great?

So Mr. Shahbuddin is the new head of the “minority wing of BJP”. He claims that BJP has the highest number of karyakartas working in a minority wing. Ahaan, even I agree to him on this one. Certainly BJP has the highest number of karyakartas dedicated to a specific minority but the fact is they are not working to uplift the minorities!

Mr. Rajnath singh made a tall claim of resolving the ayodhya issue….”peacefully”

After demolishing Babri masjid… shaking the entire Muslim population in India from its very roots… killing innocents in the riots that followed… deepening the ridge between hindus and muslims… and isolating the muslim population from the mainstream population… they are talking of resorting to non violence!

But, nothing can be as dramatic as the statement by Naqwi, another one of his kind in BJPs goodie bag. In one revelation, Naqwi claimed that “he is not proud of what his party did to Babri”.

Very touching… indeed!

BJP claims that congress uses Muslims as a votebank, well all parties do! But BJP aint innocent either, they use the majority as a votebank. Now when their trump card is not working for them, they are looking for back ups.

BJPs victory in Bihar might have given them some hope in the otherwise hopeless Muslims in India

It appears to be some kinda joke to me… but when UP elections are round the corner these guys have all the reasons to be Politically [in]correct.

Now lets see in BJPs dictionary what the definition of “peace and non violence” is..

A taste of your own medicine!

Ah! That’s how things are!

Whenever a bomb blasted on Indian soil, Thackerey and his gang took no time to accuse Pakistan. And now, when Pakistan played the same blame game…. Thackerey’s having a tough time digesting it!

“There was no hand of any Hindu groups behind the Samjhauta Express bombings. It is an irresponsible statement by the Pakistan media,’ Thackeray said at a news conference here Wednesday.â€?

What Thackerey fails to acknowledge is, here the so called “hindu extremist organizations are being blamed. So, is Thackerey taking up the new role as the speaker of the “hindu fanatics in India?

Or may be he considers himself one!

“India should have no dealing with Pakistan as long as President Pervez Musharraf is at the helm of affairs in the neighbouring country.

He is again forgetting that it was in Indian soil that Pakistani civilians lost their lives! How come Parvez Musharraf is responsible for a security lapse in India?

I agree that it’s not a time for conjecture. But the same rule applies to Thackerey as well! Where was his conscience when he blamed Pakistan straightway after the Mumbai blasts?

I guess he needs his million dollar advice in the same way those Pakistani officials do.

This is the news I found in the famous Pakistani daily, Dawn.

“After the twin blasts, Singh smashed through a steel door and an emergency hatch of one of the two blazing carriages and helped five or six passengers get out,â€? Police Inspector-General Sharad Kumar said. “He kept pushing out people from the coach despite being on fire himself … and finally flames overwhelmed him.â€?

The most important thing these politicians tend to ignore is innocent people are dying on both the sides.

I guess we had enough of this crap!

We need to develop tolerance if we want to be tolerated!

One more chamatkari baba!

Monday, February 12th, 2007

India is a land of miracles. If not miracles, at least it’s the land of miraculous people!

As far as my finite knowledge goes, I don’t see logic behind tossing young children in such an inhumane manner.

Ramanand Yadav swings a baby after standing and jumping on her.

These “chamatkari babas” do nothing but fake reality.

No religion prescribes its followers to toss babies rather in his words, bless them in such a brutal manner! It’s high time that we Indians should start using our conscience instead of blindly following whatever some xyz “baba is claiming!

Someone’s frustrated!

Tuesday, January 30th, 2007

Thackeray had said at an election campaign meeting in Thane Monday that the president is delaying a decision on Afzal Guru’s mercy petition because the locks of his hair cloud his vision on anything placed before him. Thackeray also hinted that Afzal Guru might be getting a reprieve from the president as he was a Muslim.

Have a look.

Thackerey is famous for “thackerieâ€? the infamous slang’s used by the self appointed crownless king of Mumbai. Though, I expect things like these only from the man in question but he’s full of surprises! He has a history of surprising people with his derogatory and weird comments on his fellow politicians. But now, he has insulted an entire nation of a billion people! How dare he pass such obnoxious comments on our honorable president who is respected and loved all across Indian borders? I guess he cannot rise above “me-hindu and you-non hindu attitudeâ€? that he even claimed that the president of India is being a wee bit biased. Guess he is running short of creative ideas…or may be it’s a sign of aging and the gradual loss of power from his grip.

I guess we Indians need to take elections seriously!

Making of a Muslim terrorist, Gujrat crisis

Friday, January 19th, 2007

Narendra Modi, an RSS prodigy and chief miniter of gujrat in India, had let loose dance of death and terror on Muslims under the staged precursor of 9/11 like, attack on Hindu pilgrims. The attack has since been established as a case of fire accident rather than a pre-meditated attack by Muslims over Hindus in an enquiry done by Indian government and forensic authorities.

Nevertheless, under the guise of ‘they started it first’, the complete law and order breakdown and active connivance of state machinery to target about 2000 innocent Muslims and butcher, rape and roast them alive, is unique in Indian history.

The wounds lives on as none of the crime perpetrators, involved at any level of executing this pogrom, has been brought to book.

This Film won Best Documentary & Critic’s Choice at the Hong Kong International Film Festival, as well as the Wolfgang Staudte Award & Special Jury Award at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Time to learn?

Racism is nothing but a big black spot on the history of mankind. It’s kind of sick that your skin color can make such a difference!
People can act weird. I don’t accuse all “whites of being racists. But Europeans have shown the worst a racist can do. Talk of the days of apartheid… talk of Indian history or simply talk of what Indians or other Asians and Africans face in the “white’s lands. I have no grudges against the “whites or some special feelings for shilpa shetty. But it’s simply disgusting to air such obnoxious racist comments on T.V. that too the world over!
Shilpa shetty’s issue is now an international controversy as she’s getting supporters not only back home but the Asians in Europe have also opened a front against racism.
A few of her nine housemates that are accused of racism are Jack Tweede, who called the actress “a Paki.” Another one Jade Goody said Shilpa “made her skin crawl”. Goody’s mother, who was also on the show, refused to call Shetty anything but “the Indian.” The mother has now been evicted.
Though it’s kind of funny that shilpa went there with an intention of clearing misconceptions that “Indians are modern as well.
“When Shilpa joined the show she had said that she wanted to keep her self-respect and dignity intact.â€? I just want every Indian to be extremely proud that I’m here,” the actress had said.

“I want to clear out the misconception of Indian people. We are modern, intelligent and glamorous. I have zero expectations. The only thing I really hope to keep is my self-respect and my dignity,” she added.â€?

Is there any need to prove that we are like them?
Aren’t we good enough the way we are?
I suppose it is this mentality of “trying to be like them that these racist “whites exploit. Each and every culture is an entity in itself and living in 21st century doesn’t
mean the billions of people around the world should westernize them in order to call them progressive.
My only question is… when people will realize that like the western “culture every place has its own culture and feel. Its not about only westerners being too ethnocentric, its about a feeling among the Asians and Africans that they still look up to the “western standards.

here’s the story..

“One in three women worldwide has been beaten, coerced into sex, or abused in some other way, most often by someone she knows. One in four women were abused during pregnancy (Amnesty International; www.amnesty.org)”

I couldn’t find anything better than this to start off with an article on female feticide!

It won’t be shocking, if told that the very birth of a female child is considered a bad omen in countries like India!

This explains why we have sex ratios (females per thousand males) as high as…

World 986

1 China 944

2 India 933

3 U.S.A. 1,029

4 Indonesia 1,004

5 Brazil 1,025

6 Pakistan 938

7 Russian Fed. 1,140

8 Bangladesh 953

9 Japan 1,041

10 Nigeria 1,016

Source:World Population Prospects (mid year estimates) 1998, revision, Volume 2, Sex and Age, United Nations.

Despite the fact that, the number of live births of females compared to that of males is higher. If we go into the biological details, there’s a fifty-fifty chance that a boy or a girl will be born. But due to higher disease resistance or simply an extra “X chromosome more girls are born compared to boys and that can clearly explain the higher sex ratios in developed countries.

“India now has the dubious distinction of being known as the country that likes to ensure that girls are never born. We are facing a national emergency, an `epidemic’ that will have far-reaching social consequences, says KALPANA SHARMA.”

No girls, please, we’re Indian: the Hindu.

“It’s shocking figures and we are in a national crisis if you ask me,”

“The minute the child is born and she opens her mouth to cry, they put sand into her mouth and her nostrils so she chokes and dies,” Chowdhury said, referring to cases in the western desert state of Rajasthan. “They bury infants into pots alive and bury the pots. They put tobacco into her mouth. They hang them upside down like a bunch of flowers to dry,” she said.

-Minister for Women and Child Development, Renuka Chowdhury.

Uncountable fetuses are aborted on a daily basis, here in India. Though it’s a crime to determine the sex of the child in pre natal stage, still abortion clinics are a big hit! None the less, those girls who survive are doomed to a life full of misery. Women who are mother to a boy enjoy a better social status than the women who have daughters.

They are cursed and blamed for adding an extra burden on the family. That’s why most women themselves consider the birth of a girl a bad omen… if not for the family, at least for themselves!

Here’s a story….just ONE!

“Lakshmi already had one daughter, so when she gave birth to a second girl, she killed her. For the three days of her second child’s short life, Lakshmi admits, she refused to nurse her. To silence the infant’s famished cries, the impoverished village woman squeezed the milky sap from an oleander shrub, mixed it with castor oil, and forced the poisonous potion down the newborn’s throat. The baby bled from the nose, then died soon afterward. Female neighbors buried her in a small hole near Lakshmi’s square thatched hut of sunbaked mud. They sympathized with Lakshmi, and in the same circumstances, some would probably have done what she did. For despite the risk of execution by hanging and about 16 months of a much-ballyhooed government scheme to assist families with daughters, in some hamlets of … Tamil Nadu, murdering girls is still sometimes believed to be a wiser course than raising them. “A daughter is always liabilities. How can I bring up a second?” Lakshmi, 28, answered firmly when asked by a visitor how she could have taken her own child’s life eight years ago. “Instead of her suffering the way I do, I thought it was better to get rid of her.” (All quotes from Dahlburg, “Where killing baby girls ‘is no big sin’.”)”

Shocking is such a small word to define what I felt after reading this.

“As John-Thor Dahlburg points out, “in rural India, the centuries-old practice of female infanticide can still be considered a wise course of action.” (Dahlburg, “Where killing baby girls ‘is no big sin’,” The Los Angeles Times [in The Toronto Star, February 28, 1994.]) According to census statistics, “From 972 females for every 1,000 males in 1901 … the gender imbalance has tilted to 929 females per 1,000 males. … In the nearly 300 poor hamlets of the Usilampatti area of Tamil Nadu [state], as many as 196 girls died under suspicious circumstances [in 1993] … Some were fed dry, unhulled rice that punctured their windpipes, or were made to swallow poisonous powdered fertilizer. Others were smothered with a wet towel, strangled or allowed to starve to death.”

ï‚· 2 million females are killed before or at birth simply because of their sex (www.indiafemalefoeticide.org)

 More than 60 million women are ‘missing’ from the world today as a result of sex-selective abortions and female infanticide (Amnesty; www.amnesty.org)

 50 million women are ‘missing’ from India (www.thp.org)

ï‚· In China, the 2000 census revealed the ratio of girls to boys is 100:199. The norm is 100:103 (chinadatacenter.org)

ï‚· Of 8,000 foetuses aborted in a Bombay clinic, 7999 were female (learningpartnership.org)

A UNICEF report released this week said 7,000 fewer girls are born in the country every day than the global average would suggest, largely because female foetuses are aborted after sex determination tests but also through murder of new borns.

According to the 2001 census, the national sex ratio was 933 girls to 1,000 boys, while in the worst-affected northern state of Punjab, it was 798 girls to 1,000 boys. The ratio has fallen since 1991, due to the availability of ultrasound sex-determination tests.

“Even today when you go to a temple, you are blessed with ‘May you have many sons’,” she said. “The minute you empower them to earn more or equal (to men), social prejudices vanish.

The practice of killing the girl child is more prevalent among the educated, including in up market districts of New Delhi, making it more challenging for the government, the minister said. “How do we tell educated people that you must not do it? And these are people who would visit all the female deities and pray for strength but don’t hesitate to kill a girl child,” she said.

ehh…

And, I thought muslims alone have a monopoly over all this! I have grown up watching muslims getting caught for each and every terrorist attack. The naxalites burned up a number of villages and claimed hundreds of lives, but who cares!
May be because they destroyed villages and killed villagers or may be because they weren’t muslims!!
The moment a bomb explodes… police will come up with 2-3 bearded faces over night! If they have all that back up then why can’t they act 5-6 hours in advance, before the so called “terrorists claim innocent lives!
So as they say, “all muslims are not terrorists, but all terrorists are muslims so that nullifies all the love muslims have for humanity and India!

I was watching this “India T.V they were showing some guys were caught who allegedly mailed a threatening e-mail for Indian P.M. Manmohan Singh. So the lady said, now it’s established that the guys were linked to a “muslim group so how is the police taking it now?? Phew…… police must take it differently… that’s the obvious answer to her innocent question! If u get hold of some muslim guy, then arrest him under POTA, n hang him without a trial like afzal! As simple as that!
Now this reminds me of the countless promises made by our politicians that they will treat muslims at par with others.

But why m I reminded of the war room leak case? No muslim was involved!!! And all those colonels and hawaldaars who are allegedly involved in selling confidential defense information to Pakistan, how many of them were muslims? Let’s consider this case, It was recently in the news but as expected it faded within a few days!

Army jawan caught for spying
Saturday, October 21, 2006 (New Delhi):An army personnel has been arrested from southwest Delhi while allegedly handing over sensitive defence-related classified documents to a driver of the Pakistan High Commission.
Anil Kumar, a hawaldar working in the army’s group insurance scheme, was arrested late last night from Mahipalpur while handing over the documents to Pakistan High Commission’s driver Mohammed Farooq, Joint Commissioner of Police Karnal Singh said. While Farooq was handed over to the High Commission after completing legal formalities, Kumar was arrested under the National Security Act (NSA). In Islamabad, Pakistan’s Foreign Office said Farooq was ‘illegally’ detained and ‘manhandled’ and that a protest was lodged with India in this regard.“Pakistan has lodged a strong protest with the Indian government over the illegal detention and manhandling of Farooq, a driver of the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi by the Indian security personnel,” it said in a statement. “The harassment of the Pakistani driver is a violation of international conventions as well as diplomatic norms,” it added. This was the first such incident involving the diplomatic staff of both countries after Pakistan expelled Indian Visa Counsellor Deepak Kaul on August 5, claiming that he was caught red-handed while receiving documents while on his way to Wagah border to receive his family.Kaul had said that he was handcuffed and roughly treated during his detention of five hours. India had then expelled a senior Pakistani diplomat in retaliation. The incident involving the driver came ahead of the resumption of the Foreign Secretary-level talks to review the third round of composite dialogue process. The talks are to be held in New Delhi on November 14 and 15. (PTI)http://www.ndtv.com/morenews/showmorestory.asp?category=National&slug=Army+jawan+caught+for+spying&id=95188
Similar cases are reported and then they loose media coverage. But only “relevant cases continue being the highlights!
I hope everyone can understand what “relevant means here!
If a few cases are this, are ignored, they should be! A few cases are not enough to taint one entire community, I agree to it. But, why only a few cases in India are enough to taint the entire muslim community in India??

Being a muslim from India: not that easy!!!

Being a muslim from India: not that easy!!!

Time and again, I tell myself…. It’s not that easy you see!
There was a time when I took the pain of explaining but now, I care a damn!!!
All I say is… “I know what I am

Most of the times it’s some fanatic hindu (I lovingly call them “hindutva brigade) asking me to prove my loyalty towards my nation and at times it’s some odd Pakistani asking me to prove my loyalty towards islaam!!!
What the hell…!!!!
But the questions are at times really entertaining though they frustrate me sometimes… but as I said… I won’t give any “agni pareeksha now…. The rule goes like … “I know what I am

I’m pasting my personal conversations with fanatics from both the sides… don’t forget to munch some pop corn while u read!

DISCLAIMER: THE VIEWS EXPRESSED HERE ARE BASED ON THE PERSONAL EXPERIENCE OF THE AUTHOR AND “CANNOT BE USED TO MAKE ANY GENERALISATIONS. THEY REPRESENT A FRACTION OF POPULATION FROM BOTH INDIA AND PAKISTAN… RARER OR MAJOR!
BUT AS THEY SAY, IF BAD GUYS EXIST… THE GOOD ONES ALSO EXIST!

Let’s talk of home first.

H: what kind of a hindu you are? You hate B.J.P. and R.S.S. don’t you know that whatever they do it’s for our good only?

IM: brother, I’m a proud muslim and I have all the reasons to hate them!

H: oh! I should have understood. You muslim, better start respecting hindus and their nation i.e. hindu-sthaan a hindu nation. Start respecting their religion and traditions.

IM: first of all, I’ll suggest you to start respecting India! It’s an “undeclared hindu nation but officially it’s a secular nation, so you start respecting our constitution. Coming to hindus and their traditions…. I have a lot of hindu friends, need I say more?

H: you support Pakistani cricket team!!!!! You Pakistani!

IM: oh! Do I?? And I spent my whole life thinking that irfan pathan, zaheer khan, kaif, saba karim, patel etc. etc. played for India!!

The real paining ones….

H: you muslims! You are terrorists! You kill people. You abuse others. Look at us! We are “peace loving people but, you don’t let us live with peace! We gave you our land to live and what you did to us? You are all traitors…. Islamic fanatics!

IM: my limited knowledge tells me that the so called “Islamic fanaticism is a thing not older than some ten odd years… but I remember R.S.S. existed even before we got freedom (fyi: we got freedom some 60 years back!)
So what does that indicate??
We all know who killed muslims, Sikhs, Christian missionaries!
Anyways I don’t want to use “modi’s language and justify one wrong because of another!

This one’s my favorite…

H: go to Pakistan! You will find your likes there!!!

IM: I guess we had the same choice some 60 years back… wise men know what our decision is!

H: muslims are fanatics! They started Gujarat riots and then started blaming “poor modi. Hence, whatever happened is justified!

IM: and I thought the government is still probing and trying to track the real culprits! But your claim is hilarious; you think muslims started riots against themselves??
Insane!

H: let’s have another Gujarat. Let’s burn all of them…! Let’s massacre them in one single day. Let’s take an example from Israel and the nazi Germans!

IM: no comments!

H: you muslim women you need …… @!!%#$^%@$&^%*&^(*&($%@~!@~!#!

IM: no comments!

Latest:
H: Tipu sultan was a prophet of islaam! He revolted against the Britons to save his own estate! It wasn’t meant for his own countries freedom but just to free his estate! Btw he has a record of demolishing hindu temples as well!!

IM: let me recover from the shock!
Btw can we have the list of the structures… if its there??

Now this one is very common in schools. If people bring up their children with such lullabies then it’s understandable that they start spitting venom when they grow up!

H: muslims are thieves! They took the Kohinoor with them and looted India!!!

IM: the Briton’s took more than what one nadir shah did! So can I infer that the entire Christianity is wrong??
Certainly…no is the answer! If the deeds of one group of Christians out of millions cannot generalize anything… then can we apply the same to muslims as well??
Can we have the same yard sticks for both!
And the so-called mughal thieves, I don’t know what they stole!
Whatever they used was used for decorating their palaces… the finest in India. Those jewels and gold was removed by the Britons only.

H: Taj mahal was a hindu shiva temple!!!! It was called tejo mahaleya!!!

IM: oh! My history tells me that the parliament was once “pali masjid…
Hehehehehe…
Jokes apart, even a fool can look at the structure and compare both the mughal architecture, as well as the hindu architecture and judge for himself!
The one who claimed all this is again a westerner! Reminds me of “divide and rule.

We all blame terrorists!
They undoubtedly deserve all this. But to what extent the “tagging of one community that’s as large as some 1.4 billion people justified??
We are around 120 million in India alone!
And what about the roots of communalism that are penetrating deep in our society?? Isn’t it an equally dangerous threat to our society? We need to work on terrorism and naxalism as our pm once said!
What about the nidus in which communalism is getting nourished?
Who cares?

Now coming to the Pakistani lot!

P: it must be trouble living in India!

IM: things go out of control at times but that’s how it is. No regrets!

P: you must be feeling isolated as you are totally cut off from the mainstream islaam!

IM: am I!?!

P: I can understand that you feel insecure that Pakistani muslims have deserted you and they don’t speak for you.

IM: well, there’s no need to feel insecure. I can understand the political obligations!

P: it’s not like Pakistan in any case!

IM: no two places are the same!

P: you follow islaam??

IM: I think so!

P: well the basic problem is you people are not “religiously compatible to us!

IM: ehhh??? Who told you that we want to be religiously compatible to you?? We have examples in our prophet and his companions (peace be upon them) to look up to!

P: Kargill was justified!

IM: yes, the Indian reaction was!

P: how can you support non muslims in cricket???

IM: as if playing cricket is something Islamic!!!

P: we will attack you!

IM: very likely!

P: how can you follow islaam in India?

IM: I had no idea that following islaam depends on my passport!

P: how can you love India and support India?

IM: neither India comes in between me and my religion nor islaam stops me from loving my country!

P: Kashmir belongs to Pakistan!

IM: wrong! It belongs to the Kashmiris!!!

P: look at what menace Indian army has created in Kashmir!

IM: sad but true! No doubt that Indian army has wronged kashmiris but the grenades that are dropped from across the border on a daily basis also creates problems for them!

P: Pakistan alone represent kashmiri freedom struggle!

IM: neither Pakistan nor India represents kashmiri freedom struggle!

P: we have a loving relation with Kashmir!

IM: Kashmir is an ego issue for both! Neither India nor Pakistan is working for the kashmiris. And one reason to increase the arms race! The world knows who gets all the money!!!!

P: you have a masajid there??

IM: I guess so!

P: you celebrate 15th august??

IM: I have absolutely no reasons to celebrate 14th august!!

P: if Pakistan and India are in a state of war, you will continue supporting India??

IM: what else am I supposed to do?

P: what about the hindutva brigade?

IM: they are here to create problems for us! But not all hindus are a part of it…. Up to what I know!!

Though all of them are quite entertaining, but this ones my favorite!

P: which islaam, do u follow? “B.J.P. branded islaam??

IM: no comments!

I as an Indian don’t understand what’s wrong with supporting India at least till the time we don’t have wrong policies. We muslims from India aren’t ignorant about world politics and the policies directed towards muslims!
We have black goats like any other country but our love is directed towards India-the country. And we have are eyes open and wont support anything directed against muslims or the entire humanity for that matter!
The problem with the rest of the Indian population is… they cannot digest the fact that muslims chose India as their country!
Whatever it is, I know one thing, it was with Allah’s divine will that we were born here and surely He’s watching us all!
