ehh…

And, I thought muslims alone have a monopoly over all this! I have grown up watching muslims getting caught for each and every terrorist attack. The naxalites burned up a number of villages and claimed hundreds of lives, but who cares!
May be because they destroyed villages and killed villagers or may be because they weren’t muslims!!
The moment a bomb explodes… police will come up with 2-3 bearded faces over night! If they have all that back up then why can’t they act 5-6 hours in advance, before the so called “terrorists claim innocent lives!
So as they say, “all muslims are not terrorists, but all terrorists are muslims so that nullifies all the love muslims have for humanity and India!

I was watching this “India T.V they were showing some guys were caught who allegedly mailed a threatening e-mail for Indian P.M. Manmohan Singh. So the lady said, now it’s established that the guys were linked to a “muslim group so how is the police taking it now?? Phew…… police must take it differently… that’s the obvious answer to her innocent question! If u get hold of some muslim guy, then arrest him under POTA, n hang him without a trial like afzal! As simple as that!
Now this reminds me of the countless promises made by our politicians that they will treat muslims at par with others.

But why m I reminded of the war room leak case? No muslim was involved!!! And all those colonels and hawaldaars who are allegedly involved in selling confidential defense information to Pakistan, how many of them were muslims? Let’s consider this case, It was recently in the news but as expected it faded within a few days!

Army jawan caught for spying
Saturday, October 21, 2006 (New Delhi):An army personnel has been arrested from southwest Delhi while allegedly handing over sensitive defence-related classified documents to a driver of the Pakistan High Commission.
Anil Kumar, a hawaldar working in the army’s group insurance scheme, was arrested late last night from Mahipalpur while handing over the documents to Pakistan High Commission’s driver Mohammed Farooq, Joint Commissioner of Police Karnal Singh said. While Farooq was handed over to the High Commission after completing legal formalities, Kumar was arrested under the National Security Act (NSA). In Islamabad, Pakistan’s Foreign Office said Farooq was ‘illegally’ detained and ‘manhandled’ and that a protest was lodged with India in this regard.“Pakistan has lodged a strong protest with the Indian government over the illegal detention and manhandling of Farooq, a driver of the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi by the Indian security personnel,” it said in a statement. “The harassment of the Pakistani driver is a violation of international conventions as well as diplomatic norms,” it added. This was the first such incident involving the diplomatic staff of both countries after Pakistan expelled Indian Visa Counsellor Deepak Kaul on August 5, claiming that he was caught red-handed while receiving documents while on his way to Wagah border to receive his family.Kaul had said that he was handcuffed and roughly treated during his detention of five hours. India had then expelled a senior Pakistani diplomat in retaliation. The incident involving the driver came ahead of the resumption of the Foreign Secretary-level talks to review the third round of composite dialogue process. The talks are to be held in New Delhi on November 14 and 15. (PTI)http://www.ndtv.com/morenews/showmorestory.asp?category=National&slug=Army+jawan+caught+for+spying&id=95188
Similar cases are reported and then they loose media coverage. But only “relevant cases continue being the highlights!
I hope everyone can understand what “relevant means here!
If a few cases are this, are ignored, they should be! A few cases are not enough to taint one entire community, I agree to it. But, why only a few cases in India are enough to taint the entire muslim community in India??

True…it always happens. We can do hardly something in these matters. If any furore is made, there r chances that those army men who passed info will be taken out and replaced with a muslim guy.

How can u trust politicians and beauraucrats who make one statement today and refute the next day.

    karim,
its not only about the politicians. when local people know what double standards politicians play why do they let them play with innocents??
when a majority(99.99%) of indian people know that they are just playing with things then why do people get distracted?
i was watching this speech given by hindutva workers just after godhra, he said “LETS PUT STICKERS OF JAI SREE RAM ON OUR SHOPS,RICKSHAWS AND NO HINDU SHOULD BUY FROM A SHOP WITHOUT THAT STICKER OR USE A RICKSHAW WITHOUT THAT STICKER!”
my information says, that its still not established that muslims were responsible for godhra still just within a few hours they came up with those speeches and those people who sat and heard them not only heard but accepted their orders…were they fools???

Hi… I don’t really want this to go on record. I followed your link from Orkut. I understand your viewpoints on Islam and India. However, there are many points where I can’t agree with you (not that you care for my approval). I’m not supporting the Hindutva brigade on making every Muslim a Hindu, but I also don’t support your stand that India is very anti-Muslim. I think India supports its minorities much better than Pakistan or Bangladesh do. When you speak of choices that Muslims who did not want to live with Hindus had a chance to goto Pakistan. Similiarly, there are also many Hindus who want a Hindu only land, but they did not have such opportunity to obtain a Hindu land. Now, I’m not supporting another partition of India. But what I’d request is that if you’re raising a voice against oppression of Muslims in India (which I think is quite exaggerated), you should also raise the point that Hindus in Pakistan or Bangladesh do not have the same freedom that Hindus in India do. I think you’re a very intelligent person, but I’d like to correct your viewpoint if I can… As for yor point of Afzal hanging, he did have a trial. The lawyers he approached did not want to take up his case, so the court assigned him a lawyer. The fact that he was connected to the terrorists, is not that enough to make you hate the guy? India ain’t a perfect country, but at least its trying to accomodate all the religious and social divide and trying to respect the diversity of all beliefs, rather than force everyone under one bandwagon. Apologies if this is too much to read, but would love to discuss further.
