Time and again, I tell myself…. It’s not that easy you see!
There was a time when I took the pain of explaining but now, I care a damn!!!
All I say is… “I know what I am�
Most of the times it’s some fanatic hindu (I lovingly call them “hindutva brigade�) asking me to prove my loyalty towards my nation and at times it’s some odd Pakistani asking me to prove my loyalty towards islaam!!!
What the hell…!!!!
But the questions are at times really entertaining though they frustrate me sometimes… but as I said… I won’t give any “agni pareeksha� now…. The rule goes like … “I know what I am�
I’m pasting my personal conversations with fanatics from both the sides… don’t forget to munch some pop corn while u read!

Let’s talk of home first.
H: what kind of a hindu you are? You hate B.J.P. and R.S.S. don’t you know that whatever they do it’s for our good only?
IM: brother, I’m a proud muslim and I have all the reasons to hate them!
H: oh! I should have understood. You muslim, better start respecting hindus and their nation i.e. hindu-sthaan a hindu nation. Start respecting their religion and traditions.
IM: first of all, I’ll suggest you to start respecting India! It’s an “undeclared hindu nation� but officially it’s a secular nation, so you start respecting our constitution. Coming to hindus and their traditions…. I have a lot of hindu friends, need I say more?
H: you support Pakistani cricket team!!!!! You Pakistani!
IM: oh! Do I?? And I spent my whole life thinking that irfan pathan, zaheer khan, kaif, saba karim, patel etc. etc. played for India!!

H: you muslims! You are terrorists! You kill people. You abuse others. Look at us! We are “peace loving� people but, you don’t let us live with peace! We gave you our land to live and what you did to us? You are all traitors…. Islamic fanatics!
IM: my limited knowledge tells me that the so called “Islamic fanaticism� is a thing not older than some ten odd years… but I remember R.S.S. existed even before we got freedom (fyi: we got freedom some 60 years back!)
So what does that indicate??
We all know who killed muslims, Sikhs, Christian missionaries!
Anyways I don’t want to use “modi’s� language and justify one wrong because of another!

H: go to Pakistan! You will find your likes there!!!
IM: I guess we had the same choice some 60 years back… wise men know what our decision is!
H: muslims are fanatics! They started Gujarat riots and then started blaming “poor modi�. Hence, whatever happened is justified!
IM: and I thought the government is still probing and trying to track the real culprits! But your claim is hilarious; you think muslims started riots against themselves??

H: let’s have another Gujarat. Let’s burn all of them…! Let’s massacre them in one single day. Let’s take an example from Israel and the nazi Germans!

Now this one is very common in schools. If people bring up their children with such lullabies then it’s understandable that they start spitting venom when they grow up!

Whatever they used was used for decorating their palaces… the finest in India. Those jewels and gold was removed by the Britons only.

Jokes apart, even a fool can look at the structure and compare both the mughal architecture, as well as the hindu architecture and judge for himself!
The one who claimed all this is again a westerner! Reminds me of “divide and rule�.
We all blame terrorists!
They undoubtedly deserve all this. But to what extent the “tagging� of one community that’s as large as some 1.4 billion people justified??
We are around 120 million in India alone!
And what about the roots of communalism that are penetrating deep in our society?? Isn’t it an equally dangerous threat to our society? We need to work on terrorism and naxalism as our pm once said!
What about the nidus in which communalism is getting nourished?
Who cares?
Now coming to the Pakistani lot!

P: look at what menace Indian army has created in Kashmir!
IM: sad but true! No doubt that Indian army has wronged kashmiris but the grenades that are dropped from across the border on a daily basis also creates problems for them!

IM: Kashmir is an ego issue for both! Neither India nor Pakistan is working for the kashmiris. And one reason to increase the arms race! The world knows who gets all the money!!!!

IM: I have absolutely no reasons to celebrate 14th august!!

I as an Indian don’t understand what’s wrong with supporting India at least till the time we don’t have wrong policies. We muslims from India aren’t ignorant about world politics and the policies directed towards muslims!
We have black goats like any other country but our love is directed towards India-the country. And we have are eyes open and wont support anything directed against muslims or the entire humanity for that matter!
The problem with the rest of the Indian population is… they cannot digest the fact that muslims chose India as their country!
Whatever it is, I know one thing, it was with Allah’s divine will that we were born here and surely He’s watching us all!

Yeah I have faced the same experience too and I just had that weird kinda convo ytday with a pakistani. Sad but true…we r hit on both sides…but we look at Allah and His Prophet saws for guidance and no one else.
Someone told me (frm Pak) that we wont be accepted there…I say…who wants to go there? We took that decision ages bak! Thats jus like Chaddiwallahs tellin us to go to Pak!

IM: Kashmir should be freed from India and Pakistan both!!!
i have strong objection over this mentelity of Indian muslims….those Indian muslim who donot consider kashmir to be a part of India are traitor of this nation and should leave India…..

after all the menace and havoc created in kashmir i guess kashmiris (muslims and hindus both) should be left alone with a choice to decide what they want.
